Notes: Mamod SE2a dating from c1972-75. The SE2a replaced the venerable SE2 in 1967. It was the first small Mamod stationary engine to be reversible. The particular example has been completely restored to near showroom condition and features one of the owners own reproduction decals.

Notes: This is an example of a late SE2a. Note the sight glass assembly on the boiler's face. The sight glass feature started to replace the overfill plug in all Mamod steam engines back in 1978. The most common SE2a model are the ones that have overfill plug. It is quite rare to find SE2a's with a sight glass assembly. Enjoy the pictures.
