Notes: Here we have a early raised base SE2 displaying the classic features of the period: thick-rimmed flywheel, long handled whistle and good build quality all round. This example is in original playworn condition and comes complete with the maroon strawboard box. This engine existed in this forum until approx 1958, when a redesigned and wider firebox was introduced as well as a vapourising spirit lamp.
