Notes: The Mamod Minor no. 2 was introduced in about 1948. This example dates from 1953 and curiously features a mazak flywheel but in the 'hot stamped brass' type pattern. The engine is in entirely original condition, but features a professionally reproduced period decal by the owner.

Notes: The Mamod Minor 2 was the second smallest stationary engine made by Mamod. This one had a vap burner, indicated by the cut-outs in the base, since this engine didn't come with a burner when I got it. Like the MEC1, it is a very versatile engine, seen here as a traction engine, and a paddlesteamer.
