Notes: The Plane products L5 (sometimes know as a Latimer L5) dates from the late 1940s - early 1950s and was made near London in Latimer Road, Teddington Middlesex. The engine shares some similarities with the Luton Bowman PW203 of the same period. This engine was the biggest in the Plane range and shares very little in the way of common parts with its smaller brother the Plane L4. This example has been refurbished to a high standard and comes complete with burner.

Notes: This is a pristine (refurbished) example of the larger of the two engines made by Latimer just after WW2. Very similar in some ways to the Luton Bowman engines of the same period.
