Notes: Collaborative effort by Jensen and Karsten Gintschel of Germany (turbine designer), utilized a high wattage Jensen 3" boiler paired up with Karsten's CNC machined turbine and brass geared transmission, Jensen flywheel tethered to a modern Jensen #15 generator and lamp, plywood base, electrically heated. An innovative entry in the rarified toy steam turbine world...it spools up with a most pleasing sound like a Harrier jet engine!! This piece is numbered #3 and hand signed by Mr. Tom Jensen Jr., son of the founder. The first 25 pieces released in Dec. 2005 were offered in the hand signed version. 15 months later a hand signed example is commanding 3X the going price of an otherwise identical piece. These are all assembled by Mr. Jensen himself.
