Notes: An unusual engine made c1947-51 by Sydney S Bird of Enfield, Essex, under the 'Cyldon' brand name. The 13/2 features a very unusual semi-rotative valve mechanism on the single acting cylinder. The Cyldon range featured 5 engines in total. This example is in original playworn condition and features also the attractive all-brass tubular 3-wick lamp.
